During my three years writing and editing for The ReMarker student newspaper and Focus magazine, I’ve been challenged to investigate current events through the lens of my hometown and my school community.

Writing provides a way to slow the world down and think about it more deeply. For The ReMarker and The Marque literary journal, I’ve done this by taking a personal route in my writing.
